Infrastructure Engineer
Cambridge - Hybrid
Salary up to 55k Depending on experience

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure, drive Azure cloud adoption, and deliver infrastructure projects across a global IT environment for this fantatic business based near Cambridge. This is a hybrid working role, allowing you to work from home two days per week. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support and maintain enterprise infrastructure and core systems.
  • Lead Azure cloud adoption and infrastructure projects.
  • Administer Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
  • Manage networking, firewalls, backups, and virtualisation.
  • Monitor infrastructure and resolve critical incidents.
  • Deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvements.
  • Provide 3rd line support and mentor the service desk where required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Azure infrastructure experience.
  • Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 expertise.
  • Experience with VMware and enterprise virtualisation.
  • Strong networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).
  • Backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure monitoring experience.
  • Scripting skills
  • MSP Experience would be desirable
